Dogs Downunder

About Us
Hi, I’m Chantelle, owner of Dogs Downunder.
I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember, from volunteering at rehoming centres to working with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Along the way, I’ve learned a lot about what makes each dog unique, but also how much we humans can learn from them.
At home, I have a little dachshund called Slinky who was paralysed from IVDD. With rehab, care, and plenty of determination, he’s back on his feet and still joins some of our pack walks. He’s taught me a lot about patience, resilience, and celebrating the small wins.
When I’m not with dogs, you’ll probably find me exploring Perth, at a farmers market, or sharing doggy adventures on Instagram. I started Dogs Downunder to make life better for busy owners and share my training knowledge, but also to have fun with dogs every single day.

Hi, I'm Tom, part time dog walker at Dogs Downunder.
Tom is an enthusiastic dog lover who’s grown up with Labradors, giving him a deep understanding of the breed and their energetic, loyal nature. Now a part-time dog walker at Dogs Downunder, Tom brings positive energy and lot's of love to your dogs adventures!
He has also experienced Slinky going through IVDD and has a great understanding of your fur babies needs.
Fun Fact: Every time we go away on holiday, he attracts all the local dogs! They seem to know where to find him, and he always end up popping down to the local shop to grab them some sausages as a treat 🐕🥓
When he's not with dogs, he'll be working hard in the mines and playing pool in the local sports club.
